Todd Gustafson devotes his practice to the areas of Estate Planning and Wealth Preservation, including wills and trusts, estate administration and probate, estate litigation, Medicaid planning, Medicaid Fair Hearings, and guardianship proceedings.

Mr. Gustafson is a retired U.S. Air Force Major, with over 15 years of Active Duty service, and another 8 years in the Reserves.

Mr. Gustafson is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont, where he earned a Bachelor's degree with dual majors in Accounting and Business Administration.  He has also earned a Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

He is a Cum Laude graduate of St. Louis University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor ("Doctor of Jurisprudence" or "Doctor of Law") after pursuing a curriculum focused on Elder Law and Taxation.  St. Louis University is a Jesuit-run institution, and the first law school west of the Mississippi.

Mr. Gustafson previously served as an Active Duty Air Force Instructor Pilot in the KC-135, the in-flight refueling variant of the Boeing-707.  A veteran of the 1991 Gulf War, he flew 53 combat missions over Iraq and Kuwait. He was also Chief of Training for all KC-135 crewmembers assigned to Griffiss Air Force Base, in Rome, New York, where he was earlier a Flight Commander.

Air-force-KC-135-Refuels-F-22A.jpgFollowing ten years of active military flying, Mr. Gustafson was assigned to Headquarters, Air Mobility Command, where he became the youngest Chief of Regional Operations in the Tanker Airlift Control Center, and was responsible for command and control of transport and tanker aircraft operating throughout the eastern United States, Europe, and western Asia.

After leaving the active duty Air Force, Mr. Gustafson was admitted to practice law in New York, Connecticut, Vermont, and Kentucky (presently inactive in Vermont and Kentucky) – each state by examination. 

For over seventeen years he has been dedicated to helping his clients in all areas of estate planning and wealth preservation.
